- Troy Stephens
- A Democrat in my 20s, moved right on economic liberty and love of country, then on defense by the 9/11 Jihadist attacks, at 40 I identify as a "classical liberal" or hawkish libertarian-conservative. My main concerns are the pivotal yet poorly understood fight against Jihad, and the effort to preserve and defend our constitutional republic and foster the development of free, voluntary societies.
I use this space to celebrate and champion the characteristically American Idea and way of life that are near and dear to my heart, and as an adaptation to life in surroundings that at times seem quite hostile to my perspective.
I'm a "Conservative" because I am a liberal. I'm a dynamist. I'm a modernist, rationalist, individualist. My tribe is Grey.
